Let us help you plan a luxury vacation to Cozumel, a Mexican Island in the Caribbean. You can stay in our retirement home "Villa Dzul-Ha" for no more cost than staying in one of the island's better hotels.

Villa Dzul-Ha is a luxurious three bedroom home located on the south beach of Cozumel four miles south of downtown. We are located next to the hotel Club del Sol, between the hotel Presidente and Chankanaab Park. We are a little more obscure now that they have completed the new road going to the south end of the island. The new road passes well behind our property now, but you can find us on the old beach road. As you head south from town, the new road will begin just after you pass the La Ceiba hotel. Continue south for about a mile, and look for the signs directing you to Hotel Fiesta Americana, Hotel Presidente Intercontinental, and Chankanaab Park. After you exit the new road, you will continue south on the old beach road for a half mile past the Presidente to our place. We have a large "Villa Dzul-Ha" sign right by our entrance driveway. We can help you arrange for SCUBA diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, or sightseeing trips. We offer important advice on restaurants and car rental.

SCUBA diving trips can be arranged with either the best dive shops (less expensive) or independent dive operators (More experienced and customized to your needs). See our webpage on "Diving" for more details.

For snorkeling, the best place on the island is in front of the house. The water depth starts knee deep and increases to 30 feet at the far edge of the reef. Most of the reef is easily visible from the surface in 8 to 10 feet of water. The reef is live coral with all the tropical fish you would expect to see at a shallow reef. This is a great place for SCUBA equipment check-out dives, macro photography, reef critter ogling, or just a fun beach dive.

For eating, Villa Dzul-Ha offers excellent family style meals at a bargain price or we can recommend a number of excellent restaurants in Cozumel. We recommend you try some of both. For over fourteen years, it has been our privilege to have "Feliciana" employed as our housekeeper and cook. She has earned the praises of all our clients for her local Mayan cooking style. Villa Dzul-Ha provides the best facilities for socializing with your friends and family. With Playa Dzul-Ha  beach and snorkel area for recreation, and the living room, dining room, three elevated terraces, and the large screened patio with gas grill, you have plenty of space for your group. Your security is greatly enhanced by our complete enclosure of Villa Dzul-Ha by an attractive fence and secure gate that does not inhibit the ocean view. To help us maintain our security, please respect our policy of not allowing strangers or newfound acquaintances to visit or stay in the villa.
